A new family tradition

Before I get shot, in my defense, the camera is currently being repaired. so I havne't been taking pictures.

BUT I do have a few stories. First of all tonight I decided to borrow from my friend Amanda and what she does with her kids. Tonight as I was putting her to bed I asked her what her favourite thing was of the day. She told me "the balcony" I can only assume she meant that she was happy because I let her go outside buck naked onto the balcony covered with snow for about 5 seconds. apparently that is the epitome of excitment when you are 2. Her worst part of the day was when she fell and got a big fat huge lip with a scrape on her chin. she is very bummed about her boo boo. So after we decided to pray to Jesus and ask him to help her feel better.

I also wanted to mention that she gave us breakfast in bed the other day. Daddy asked her to get us some yogurt so sure enough she went downstairs, grabbed 3 yogurts, grabbed 2 spoons our size and 1 her size and dragged them back up the stairs. it was SOOOO cute, she was determined. she is such a sweetie.
Kalista is getting frustrated that she can't sit up and be a part of the action. she hollers if someone isn't holding her and there is a lot of movement. so she is in arms a lot. but she can almost sit up on her own and wakes up WAY to early where I just hand her a toy and fall back asleep. sorry baby, but I just don't DO 500am...YAWN. babies are so much work.....
